Over the past year, CBD has found its way into the hands of many, some of whom are experienced cannabis users and some of whom are novices that regard it as a supplement or health trend. However, standardization and testing of these products have not quite caught up in speed to its surge in use. Many of these difficulties have stemmed from differences in state-by-state regulations and policies, which are quickly evolving over the span of months. National, consensus guidelines must be adapted to establish consistency across protocols, as the CBD current supply chain is far behind in establishing traceability from start to finish.
