Who they are: Based in Colorado Springs, Pure Hemp Supply cultivates, extracts, and manufactures its CBD. Founder Jannie Richardson worked in commercial real estate development prior to opening Green Mart Hemp, the parent company of Pure Hemp Supply. The company’s vertical model—“from soil to oil”—reduces costs and pricing.
These folks mean business. They grow over 400 acres of hemp across five farms and developed genetics with high CBD and CBG content (a variety known as “Hail Mary”). The parent company’s research warehouse spans 49,000 square feet. Pure Hemp Supply’s extracts are created using ethanol although the details of the extraction process are proprietary. Certificate of analysis results are available for some products but do not cover all testing areas.
Why they’re unique: Pure Hemp Supply’s vertical production model reduces the cost of high-quality CBD, lowering the barriers to entry for consumers and wholesalers.
What products they have: Tinctures, concentrates, isolate, softgels, and a topical. Three tinctures are currently on the table: mint chocolate with 1,000 mg CBD, unsweetened mint with 1,500 mg CBD, and unflavored with 2,400 mg CBD. These flavors and doses do not mix and match (but the site says more are coming). Of course, there’s always the 300 mg and 600 mg unflavored tinctures for dogs and cats. The human tinctures come in MCT oil (coconut), but our animal companions get hemp seed oil.
Pure Hemp Supply offers standard softgels with 30 mg each, also in MCT oil. But if you’re stuck inside all day, check out the CBD + Vitamin D softgels. Each capsule packs 2,000 IU vitamin D alongside 25 mg CBD.
Full spectrum concentrates are made with Hail Mary, the company’s proprietary hemp variety. Choose between 1,000 mg or 2,000 mg options. CBD isolate is also available at a purity of just over 98%. Although Pure Hemp Supply only houses one topical, it’s definitely worth highlighting: the Rosemary Lavender 500 mg CBD Salve. This is grapeseed oil, hempseed oil, rosemary, and lavender on a playdate.
